As a child, I grew up in an age where technology had not yet come into our daily lives,
as technology was possible for the few rich. Everything then was simple and innocent.
As a teenager I was educated in technology and as an adult I worked for technology.
Now a middle-aged man and familiar with technology, I often recall the simplicity
and innocence of the life I grew up as a child. Knowing the currency from both sides
“technology – simplicity”, I believe that it is now possible today to handle technology
with simplicity and innocence, those of us who have studied it and offer it
to our fellow human beings, to use it safely both theirs and the beautiful planet Earth

The vision of our company started in 2006.
Personally, Mr. Sigalas Markos emphasized both the name “Energy Development
International Technology” and the design of the company, which he also considered
key elements of the vision for the start of the company in the field of shipping automation.
Our first logo was designed based on a sailboat.
The sailboat was chosen because it is completely autonomous and safe,
it needs to travel only a little favorable air. After 10 years of operation of the company,
which was constantly evolving in the world shipping, the new logo was redesigned
from the beginning based on the hull of a merchant ship.
The change of the logo from a sailing ship to a merchant ship was
chosen because both the customer collaborations
increased worldwide as well as the requirements of our company.
To date, our company based on 30 years of experience
in ship automation of Mr. Markos Sigalas, our company has undertaken
difficult projects and has delivered them in full operation in short time diagrams,
also our company has offered certified services in more than 1.500 merchant ships
worldwide and we have attached partnerships with major international shipping companies
in order to serve safely and with excellent know-how the 200 shipping companies
